HLD Global’s emissions reduction targets are approved by the Science Based Targets initiative, consistent with levels required to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement. 

The targets covering greenhouse gas emissions from HLD Global’s operations (scopes 1 & 2) are consistent with reductions required to keep warming to 1.5^oC.  This is what the latest science has directed is needed to prevent the most damaging effects of climate change. 

HLD Global’s target for 2030 is to reduce absolute scope 1&2 Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 38%, developed from a 2021 base-year.
